I have covered a wide range of topics, from national politics to hurricanes, the best half smoke in DC and what inspires wheelchair bound people to dance. I’ve gotten in the ring with youth who use boxing as a way out of gang life. I’ve followed the brush strokes of artists as they lighten a canvas. I’ve covered the daily experiences leading up to and after a historic presidential run. I’ve also delved into the lives of eating contest competitors, found out what it’s like to shave your head for cancer research, seen the result of animal cruelty and met the people who work to fight it, and found out why some NBA players fight to make sure families have a roof over their heads.
